I can't believe 2007 is almost over. It's amazing how time flies and how much stuff is accumulated in that time.  And no matter how old we get there are always hobbies to be picked up.  My most recent one was Scrapbooking! And with that hobby came a lot of, you guessed it, STUFF! I bought Paperkins, Embellishments, Borders, Albums, Scrapbook Kits, Stencils, Stickers, everything and anything needed for Scrapbooking.  

Looking around my room I decided it’s time to let go of the Scrapbook stuff I didn’t use and am auctioning everything off in my Penny Sale. It’s a risk, I know but it must be done.  I also have to be realistic; Scrapbooking is not on my list of resolutions for 2008. I do love the albums I made though! J  It’s all brand new and being offered to you still in it’s packaging.

I’m also going to add all the surfer necklaces and belly rings too. Some of them are of Celtic crosses, dolphins, stars, and the Chinese zodiac.  My friends wore them and left the duplicates behind. Hopefully everyone enjoys my penny sale because once the items are gone, they’re gone! And where else can you get new items for a penny!

 

 

 

Wow! I'm so exhausted right now. I was trying to post as many auctions as I could while ebay had a promotion for listing fees. Those fees will kill you which is why I'm trying the store. The only problem is you need auctions to get people to go to your store because store items don't come up in listings. I'm hoping that I at least make the money I spent back. If not i'll have a lot of cool stuff to wear.

My friend came over and looked at the newsboy, military caps and really liked them. He liked the Gray Fedora's most of all and said that they were going to be the new fashion for fall. He works at Macy's doing displays. I hope he's right! I also put some stuff that Katherine Moennig wears as Shane on The L Word. I put up the Hip-Hop Jean Chains and the two I have with blinged out Skulls. The other two are iced with Blue and Clear looking Diamonds.

I can't believe it's almost 2008! Just a couple of more months and all these items will hopefully be gone! If not i'm going to look like the most fashionable person in the neighborhood. Because friends will not want to pay for items a friend sells.. LOL.. I can't imagine owning a bar. People will be looking for freebies all the time. That's what friends are for though!.. Here's to patience at least for the next 10 weeks! :)

I just got back from New York.&nbsp; I'm from Brooklyn but, I moved to California for some change. Everytime I go back I miss NY more and more but, it's so expensive to live there. California isn't must better but the&nbsp;weather is great and if i'm broke (which is always) I go camping.&nbsp; My family is still in NY and I work for a NY company so I get to fly back often. The time flies so fast trying to visit everyone and since I'm working when I'm there, there's&nbsp;not much free time.</p><p>I did manage to get a lot of great stuff though for my store.&nbsp; I'm really excited and will be putting up the items in the upcoming weeks. I got beautiful gray fedora hats, jean chains, rainbow jeans chains and rainbow/pride bracelets, skull ties, skull jean chains, army caps, and even army caps with skulls. I also found sunglasses that look like the one Katherine Moening wears on The L Word as the character Shane. Oh and Betty Boop stuff every fan will love.&nbsp; I'm so excited and hope that my customers will be as well. How can I forget the leather belts with Skulls, Guitar buckles, and white belts as well.&nbsp; It's going to be an exciting holiday season.

I started selling stuff on Ebay about 5 years ago.  Cowry Shell Bracelets like the one Gale Harold wore on Queer As Folk became very popular. His character Brian Kinney was admired by all for his strong personality and of course he's gorgeous! I was lucky enough to find someone who sold it in bulk and was able to offer it to fans of the show.  Unfortunately, someone else stole my idea and when I lost my vendor their business took off and mine went away.  They also copied my auctions sometimes verbatim and the style.  I ended up giving up, but now I’m back with several items I would love to share with the world including my Digital Art.

I travel a lot and often buy things that I like for gifts or for myself. I figured why not offer these items to the world and have bought several items to share with you all. I mostly get one of each item so onces it's gone, it's gone. 

I’ve always wanted to own my own business and when I see places like Red Envelope with so many over-priced items I figure I could do that too and have more reasonable prices.  However, it’s not that easy selling Elegant handbags from the Phillipines made from Abaca. It is known in the international trade as Manila Hemp, it is considered the strongest of natural fibers. These items are so beautiful I just couldn’t wait to offer them. It's been hard though and the summer has been slow but I can’t give up like I did before. Life is too short to give up so fast.  I will be sticking around and will be offering my photography and Digital Art as well. I will also include items from shows I enjoy like The L Word and Queer As Folk. Here's to finishing 2007 in style with an Abaca purse at my side!
